Awards and Recognition

The following awards are used to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of our members over the years. We have a great community and many excellent resources available to our members, none of it would be possible without the blood, sweat and tears shed by so many people.

	This award is granted to our members by the Founder's of LOA for reasons defined by the Founder.
	All LOA Chapter Leaders, past and present, are granted permission to use this image.
	Any member of LOA who has served as Lord/Lady of Initiation is eligible for this award and may begin using it immediately.
	All members of LOA who have actively served as the Lord of Merchants in any chapter of LOA is eligible for this award and can begin using it immediately.
	This award is given to those members of LOA who have served as Lord of Diplomacy in any of our official chapters, past and present.
	This award recognizes all those who have served as the Lord of War officer position. The Lord of War has been tasked with setting up events, managing player-vs-player battles and overseeing our war-readiness.
	Anyone who has been in LOA for a total of 5 consecutive years or more is eligible for this award. Those members who have quit, then returned, must ensure that a consecutive five years has been served before using this award. Those who meet the requirement may begin using this award immediately.
	Anyone who joined LOA and played in Ultima Online with us during our first year is eligible for this award.
	This award must be granted by a Chapter Leader or Founder of LOA. The Contributory Recognition award is given to those members who significantly donate in-game money and/or resources to the guild vault.
	Any member of LOA who has been in attendance during the purchase and creation of our guild in any chapter (official or unofficial) is eligible for this award. Those members can begin using this award immediately.
	Granted to all members of the LOA community who have donated real money to the LOA Guild Fund account.
	This award can be granted to members only by their Chapter Leader or a Founder. The Influential Recognition award is given to those members who significantly market and promote the LOA in various online communities, such as news sites, forums, chat rooms and more.
	This award must be given by either a Founder of LOA or the Chapter Leader of the member being awarded. The Roleplayer Recognition award is given to those members of LOA who seek opportunities to roleplay with fellow members of LOA, or other members of the gaming community.
	This award can be granted to members of LOA only by their Chapter Leader or a Founder of LOA. This award recognizes members who significantly go out of their way to organize, lead and attend groups with fellow LOA members.
	Any member of LOA who has submitted five (5) or more stories for our "Tales of Akalabeth" section is eligible for this award and may begin using it immediately. Our fictional stories have been enjoyed and praised for many years, we hope that the tradition continues forever.
	This award is granted by the Founder's of LOA to members who have volunteered their time and/or money to the technical aspects of our guild management (i.e. server support, forum maintenance, AkalaBot, etc.).
	This award is granted to any member of the LOA community who has donated real money to an LOA-selected charity.
	Any member of the LOA community that has attended an LOA gathering, past or present, can begin using this award.
	This award is for any member of LOA who has served in the military, either active or reservist.
	Any member of LOA who actively engages in LOA-sponsored fantasy sports leagues is eligible for this award. The member MUST remain active and involved, ensuring that the league is enjoyable for everyone.
